Google Registry, a domain registration service by Google (separate from Google Domains which has been sold), has announced the addition of a top-level domain (TLD) option, namely .ing. This TLD, being “-ing,” allows for playful exploration of verb forms in domain names. Some of the early customers who have already registered these domains include Canva with design.ing and draw.ing, as well as Adobe with edit.ing and sign.ing.
Those interested in registering a .ing domain can submit their requests on the dedicated website, get.ing. During this period, there is a one-time early access fee, which will decrease each day until December 5, 2023, 16:00 UTC. After this date, .ing domains can be registered on a yearly basis.
TL;DR: Google Registry now offers the .ing top-level domain for creative manipulation of verb-based domain names. Early access fees are reduced daily until December 5, 2023, after which .ing domains can be registered annually.
