Growth Observed in Alibaba and JD.com’s 11.11 Sales Report, Concealing Figures but Indicating Advancement from the Previous Year

Alibaba and JD.com, two major e-commerce giants in China, have revealed sales statistics for Singles’ Day, also known as 11.11, in 2023. However, specific numerical details were not disclosed, only the confirmation of sales growth compared to the previous year.

Alibaba stated that the gross merchandise volume (GMV) of Taobao and Tmall experienced an increase. More than 402 brands achieved sales of over 100 million yuan, while over 38,000 brands saw growth of over 100%.

On the other hand, JD.com presented various significant statistics, including transaction volume, order quantity, and buyer engagement. Over 60 brands surpassed sales of 1 billion yuan, and more than 20,000 brands experienced triple-digit growth.
