Stability AI announces collaboration with Arm to utilize artificial intelligence models to generate sound from Stable Audio Open data, an open-source platform tailored to run on device-level devices such as smartphones with Arm chips.
Running on Arm through the Arm KleidiAI framework, Stable Audio Open is said to produce sound results faster than traditional methods, up to 30 times quicker, reducing minutes to just a few seconds.
Currently, Stable Audio Open is not available for download on Arm for testing, but both Stability AI and Arm have plans to introduce sound file generation models for rapid deployment soon.
