Introducing Meta AI’s Chatbot: Empowered by Its Unique Model, Tailoring Conversations to Prominent Personalities and Celebrities

Meta Connect 2024 recently unveiled several new AI features at their event. One of the highlights is the use of Generative AI to create stickers in chats, as well as AI-assisted image editing for Instagram posts.

Another new feature introduced is the chatbot named Meta AI, which is similar to ChatGPT, Bard, or Bing. The AI-powered chatbot has been customized based on the Llama 2 model developed in-house by Meta, and it incorporates real-time data from Microsoft’s Bing. Moreover, it incorporates a feature that allows AI to generate images according to specific preferences, similar to Bing.

In terms of conversational interaction and information querying, Meta AI doesn’t differ much from other chatbots. What sets Meta AI apart is its collaboration with celebrities, athletes, and public figures, who lend their personas to become avatars of Meta AI chatbots. This allows users to engage in conversations with Meta AI chatbots that have a unique and distinct personality. Some of the famous personalities participating in this initiative include Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, MrBeast, Naomi Osaka, Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady, and Dwyane Wade. While these celebrities may use different names and have slightly altered backstories, their appearances unmistakably identify them. The complete list of participating celebrities can be found.

Meta AI chatbots will be integrated into almost all of Meta’s services, including WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, the Quest 3 virtual reality headset (possibly excluding older Quest models), and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

TLDR: Meta Connect 2024 introduced several new AI features, including Generative AI for sticker creation and AI-assisted image editing. They also unveiled Meta AI chatbots, which are powered by a customized LLM model derived from Llama 2 and real-time data from Bing. These chatbots collaborate with celebrities to provide unique conversational experiences. Meta AI chatbots will be available across various Meta services, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Quest 3 VR headset, and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
