Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Unveils Latest Update, Accidentally Grants Players Access to Debug Menu

Last night, Insomniac Games released a new update for the game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, introducing features like New Game+, Replay Mission, adding photo mode enhancements, new character costumes, and adjusting in-game timing.

This update seems to bring a plethora of new features, but many players have noticed that it inadvertently allows access to a Debug menu, typically meant for game developers. This Debug menu reveals missions not found in the game or potentially upcoming DLC content. One of the listed missions in the Debug menu references Beetle, a villain in Spider-Man and the daughter of Tombstone.

Insomniac Games has issued a warning to players via social media and is working on a hotfix to quickly address the issue.

⚠️ We acknowledge that the recent game update may have unintentionally unlocked a development menu. A hotfix is in progress to address this. Please be aware that using this menu could compromise your game saves and trophy progress. Playing the game as intended poses no risk.
