Security company Secuinfra revealed that the embedded malware belongs to the Vidar family, clandestinely extracting various data from the device such as passwords and cookies. The malicious files masqueraded themselves within a file named pirate.exe. Unofficial data from SteamDB suggests that around 1,500 people have downloaded this game.
