The PlayStation Portal, a gaming streaming device from PlayStation, was officially announced last week and is set to launch on November 15th at a price of $199.99 USD. Pre-orders for the PlayStation Portal have already begun in some countries.
The PlayStation Portal features an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080p and 60fps. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a touch screen that allows for virtual touchpad capabilities, which can be used as a substitute for the actual touchpad on the DualSense controller.
The device acts as a remote player, allowing users to play games from their PS5 console at home via Wi-Fi. However, it only supports games that are processed by the PS5 console itself and does not support games streamed through PlayStation Plus Premium or games from the upcoming PS VR2.
