This news comes after previous rumors from Windows Central, which stated that Microsoft will unveil an AI PC this year, accompanied by a new version of Windows.

The upcoming Surface models are expected to feature the Snapdragon X Elite chip, along with the updated Windows operating system. The operating system will be divided into two separate updates: the core operating system, code-named Germanium, and the feature set, code-named Hudson Valley.

It is anticipated that the new Surface models will debut with Germanium first in the mid-year, while other PC users will have to wait for the Hudson Valley update, which is expected to roll out between September and October.
