Rumors Swirl: EA Set to Resurrect The Sims 1 & 2 for PC Sales Once Again to Celebrate The Sims’ 25th Anniversary.

The Sims social media account recently posted images in preparation for the 25th anniversary of The Sims series. Rumors are swirling that EA is planning to re-release the first two installments, The Sims 1 & 2, on PC once again.

According to Kotaku, we may see The Sims 1 & 2 hit the shelves within this week, complete with all expansion packs. The Sims 1 was originally released in 2000, exclusively on disk format, never digitally. On the other hand, The Sims 2 was released in 2004 and had a digital release at one point before being removed from stores in 2014. Meanwhile, The Sims 3 & 4 remain available for digital purchase through platforms like Steam today.
