The Enigma Unveiled: Kuo’s Analysis Surmises the Scorching Condition of iPhone 15 Pro Stems from Design Inadequacies, Not 3nm Chip

After the delivery of the iPhone 15 Pro to customers, reports have emerged regarding various issues. One reported problem is the device becoming hotter than usual after extended usage or while fast charging.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned analyst who frequently reports on Apple’s new products, has provided insights on this matter. Through his investigation, he found that the heat issue identified did not stem from the 3-nanometer chip from TSMC but rather from internal design choices. These include reducing the heat dissipation area to achieve a lighter device, as well as the use of aluminum frames that can impact heat management.

Considering that this issue appears to stem from the design, Kuo suggests that Apple may be able to address it through software updates.

TLDR: Reports suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro experiences abnormal heat generation during usage or fast charging. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo attributes this issue to internal design choices rather than the device’s chip. Kuo proposes that Apple could potentially alleviate the problem through software updates.
