Horizon Forbidden West will be releasing a Complete Edition tomorrow (6th October, according to US time), which includes the main game and the Burning Shores expansion. The PS5 version will be available for sale first, followed by the PC version in 2024.
Although the PS5 version of the game is expected to remain unchanged, as it has been on sale for quite some time, some people have discovered that the PS5 disc version of the game comes with two discs. This makes it the first PS5 game to have two discs, although it’s still unclear if they are separate discs for each part or not (since the game’s total file size is 121GB, and each disc can hold up to 100GB).
The trend of needing two discs for PS5 games seems to be increasing gradually. For instance, the upcoming FF7 Rebirth game, set to release in February 2024, will also have two discs.
