Microsoft has unveiled the mobile version of Age of Empires at the 2022 Trade Show.
Developed by TiMi Studio under Tencent, this installment adapts the gameplay of the Age of Empires series for mobile screens.
Age of Empires Mobile offers four civilizations to choose from, including French, Byzantine, Roman, and Chinese, with hero systems like Barbarossa, Queen of Sheba, Hammurabi, Alexander the Great, and Charlemagne.
The game now has a website where players can pre-register for early access on both iOS and Android, with the official launch date set for August 19, 2024.
