Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, took the stage at the LlamaCon conference hosted by Meta to engage in a conversation with CEO Mark Zuckerberg. During their discussion, Nadella touched upon the use of AI to aid in coding at Microsoft.
He mentioned that currently, around 20-30% of the code in Microsoft’s repository is written by AI, and in some projects, AI may even be responsible for all the coding, a trend that is gaining momentum.
Following this, Nadella inquired with Zuckerberg about the amount of AI-written code within Meta. Zuckerberg responded that the exact figures were unknown, but the AI models being developed have the goal of being able to further develop themselves in the future. Next year, the figures may potentially account for half of all projects.
