Unveiling Tesla’s Free Trial of Full Self-Driving in China for One Month

Tesla has announced that customers in China can now test out the Full Self-Driving package for free from March 17 to April 16, regardless of whether they are existing or new customers. The condition is that customers must have a vehicle equipped with hardware that supports the use of driving assistance systems, along with the latest version of navigation software. Tesla plans to roll out the full FSD feature in China this year, collaborating with Baidu on system development.

Reports indicate that while the FSD system in the US does not require map navigation software to work together due to AI data training and storage, in China, Tesla is unable to store data in this manner due to Chinese regulations, hence the need for navigation software to work in conjunction.
