Samsung has unveiled this year’s Galaxy A Series with a total of 3 sub-models: Galaxy A56, A36, and A26. The standout feature is the AI technology called “Awesome Intelligence,” a first for the Galaxy A Series. These smartphones come with One UI 7 on Android 15 (ahead of the flagship Galaxy S24 from last year), featuring familiar AI features like Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Filters for creating custom image filters.
The Galaxy A56 goes a step further with exclusive features such as Best Face for selecting the best face in group photos, Nightography for low-light photography similar to high-end models, and Low Noise Mode for the 12MP front camera.
This group of Galaxy A Series phones will receive guaranteed OS upgrades and security patches for 6 years, an improvement from the previous year’s model which only offered 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of patches.
The interesting change in specs for this round of Galaxy A Series is seen in the Galaxy A36 and A26 models, which now boast a larger 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz display, matching the A56. They also feature a 5,000mAh battery, with the main differences lying in the cameras, chips, and memory.
