Following extensive rumors, Tesla has officially introduced the new Model 3 Performance, following the release of the Model 3 “Highland” around 8 months ago, gradually phasing out the Performance model since then.
The Tesla Model 3 Performance comes with a fresh design, featuring some distinct changes such as a new front bumper, diffuser, and rear spoiler, as well as interior upgrades like new seats and a carbon fiber dashboard. Additionally, the suspension has been entirely revamped to work in harmony with Track Mode V3, adjusting every aspect of the driving experience such as motors, shock absorbers, and overall stability to better suit track driving.
The dual motor setup in the Model 3 powers all four wheels, delivering 510 horsepower, an increase in sustained power by 22%, maximum power by 32%, and maximum torque by 16%. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds (0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds) and can travel up to 528 kilometers on a single charge (WLTP) with a top speed of 262 km/h.
Starting at $52,990 in the United States or roughly 1.95 million baht, the Tesla Model 3 Performance is now available for ordering in several countries across North America and Europe, with no information currently provided for the Asian region on the website.
