Reports have emerged indicating another shuffle in top-level management at Apple, with Vanessa Trigub being promoted to the role of Vice President of Global Retail and Retail HR. This move has yet to be officially announced by Apple. Previously, this role was held by Deirdre O’Brien, who oversaw both the Apple Retail Stores and the HR department.
Trigub, who previously managed Apple Stores on the West Coast of the United States, will now be responsible for overseeing Apple Stores worldwide. With over 30 years of experience at Apple, Trigub has been instrumental in the management of retail and Apple Store operations.
This change does not diminish O’Brien’s responsibilities, as she continues to oversee the overall retail business, along with the HR department. The HR role was previously held by Carol Surface, who left the position last year.
