Discord has announced the discontinuation of its AI chatbot called Clyde, effective from December 1st. Users will no longer be able to utilize Clyde’s services in DMs, group DMs, or server chats.

The chatbot Clyde was initially introduced for testing at the beginning of this year, utilizing technology from OpenAI to respond to queries and engage in user conversations. However, its capabilities were limited.

It remains unclear whether Discord plans to permanently shut down Clyde or if they may introduce it as a paid feature for Nitro customers in the future. Only time will tell.
