Foodpanda Business Ventures Primed for Global Expansion, Including Thailand: Prospective Buyers Likely to Be Grab

Delivery Hero, a German company specializing in food delivery services, has confirmed plans to sell part of its business in Asia. The value of the deal is still under negotiation. Wirtschaftswoche, a German media outlet, has identified Grab as a potential buyer for this venture, as Grab had previously acquired Foodpanda in Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Thailand for an estimated value of €1 billion or approximately ฿38.6 billion. However, representatives from Grab have not yet commented on this information.

It should be noted that the specific territories where Foodpanda operates, but were not included in this sale, are Taiwan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
