WhatsApp Launches New Mac App with Video Calling Capability

WhatsApp has released a brand new version of its Mac app, similar to the app on Windows that was released earlier. The new version of WhatsApp for Mac now supports group calling with up to 8 people in video call mode and 32 people in voice chat mode. Users can join a group even after the call has started, view call history, and receive notifications even when the app is closed. Sharing files has also become easier with the ability to drag and drop files into chats. According to WhatsApp, the Mac app features end-to-end encryption, just like WhatsApp on other devices. Users can directly download the app from the WhatsApp website, and it will soon be available for download on the Mac App Store.
