Police Officer in Nashville Uses Airtag to Track Stolen Car

Local news outlet, WSMV4, has reported that a victim filed a report with the police in Nashville stating that their car was stolen on August 3rd. The victim also mentioned that there was an Airtag attached to the car, allowing the police to track its location through the Find My app on their iPhone.

With the help of the Airtag tracking and the aviation unit, the police were finally able to locate the suspect. They were able to apprehend the criminal and recover the stolen car, which was found parked in front of a hair salon. Upon further inspection, the police also discovered 49 grams of cocaine and marijuana paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Prior to this incident, the New York police had advised the public to use Airtags on their cars due to an increase in car theft cases.
