The Creative Team behind the Nier Series Gathers to Develop a New Game, Revealing the Possibility of Being Nier or Not Nier

In the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Yosuke Saito, the executive producer of Square Enix, revealed in an interview that they are currently working on a new game in collaboration with Yoko Taro, the director of the Nier series and Drag on Dragoon, along with Keiichi Okabe, the composer for both series. The new game being developed may or may not be related to Nier, but an announcement is expected to be made soon.

Yosuke Saito has been the executive producer for several games at Square Enix, with notable works including NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, a remastered version of NieR Replicant, and Nier Gestalt, which have sold 1.5 million units. However, there have been unsuccessful projects like the game Babylon’s Fall.
